Patreon Update 4! Helllloooooo Patrons! Are you well? Many thanks as always for your kind support. ❤️🙏 I hope you have been enjoying my updates on social media: Facebook Instagram YouTube (previous update here) Let’s crack on with what’s new!
Patreon Update 4 Overview
Since my last update (and after recovering from the dreaded Covid virus!) I have enjoyed a few fun trips out and about. Also, after getting sore ears on the 10-day motorcycle ride from my earbud headphones, I decided to try out a cheapo Bluetooth headset I bought online for a mere 11 USD! The instructions proved to be quite entertaining….(this is not intended to mock or make fun of non-native speakers. It is a light-hearted laugh at bad translations. I absolutely respect those who speak English as a second language 🙏)
Table of Contents
Highlight Video
A recent 346 km day ride out to some amazing bat caves! More info towards the end up the update!
Bluetooth Lost in Translation
They have actually turned out to be pretty good!
Local Delights
I enjoyed some minor pottering around Chiang Mai on my scooter
Night Riding and Time Travel
…and enjoyed a night ride around the famous Samoeng Loop, where I spotted a new variant of speed bumps.
…. and I fitted a flux capacitor to my bike and went back in time….
Getting Handy
I got handy with my sewing machine too and made this handy tank bag for my bike. Tested it out on a ride up to the local Hilltribe Village.
Monsoon Season
The end of Thailand’s Monsoon Season was in full swing last month, so I hunkered down waiting for the season to end. Enjoyed local markets and took a visit to an Astro Park .
Hilltribe Village
Whenever the rains dried up, if I had some time free, my regular place to visit was Doi Pui Village. The Hmong Hilltribe village is just so peaceful!
Temple time and Chuckles
I visited the stunning mountain temple of Wat Palad also and a snapshot of a Thai bike carrying eggs got a few chuckles on my Facebook page!
Patreon Update 4: Reels
I put together a few REELS also, but I’m not sure how to embed them in my blog, so here is a LINK to the reels tab instead.
Aside from that, I have been continually updating my Riding in Thailand Guide and working on developing my (taking forever) app….
Cave Temple Ride
My recent ride to the remote Bat Cave temple was enjoyable and now that the weather is more clement, I’m hoping to find more time to get more rides in!
POI FULL ACCESS MAP
Lastly, exclusive for Patreons, I will be adding these interesting new places and locations to the POI full-access map !
If there is anything you would like to see more of or any requests, let me know! Hope you enjoyed this Patreon update 4!
